History: Frederick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Anthony hails from a village terrorized by illithids. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bounty Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Arnold has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
