History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has achieved small success as a Soapmaker.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Ernest was born with his father's beautiful face. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. After a long history of fighting, Ernest and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
