Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Raymond alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raymond fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Butcher. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
