Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His red hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Shepherd. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ralf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Shepherd.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to work out more often

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a black tunic with pastel highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes. He has shaved his head bald. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Kody took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
