Description: A middle-aged man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and is pretty ugly. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Norman was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. His brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Dilettante arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, and his gloved hand is found clutching a quarterstaff. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Chad's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'10" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a simple tan robe with blue stripes complete with hood. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Peter is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Peter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Peter was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spy. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy red stubble. He is renowned for his bright yellow suits and hats. He has a hunchback. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Sellsword, but he got bored and became a Layabout. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and sabotage a competitor
