History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To protect his home; and to clean up the streets

History: Patrick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Patrick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Patrick's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Nicholas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
