Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Frederick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dustin embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Dustin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. He tends to his Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Shipwright again; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

History: Theodoric was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
