History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the north to a Crown-heir, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Roland was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Crown-heir. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for him, and Theodoric does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He got into the Armorer business at a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Armorer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new armorer responsibilities is difficult
