Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Roland is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Gardener. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Recently the stress of being a Navigator has made it difficult for him to sleep.
