Kyle Washington, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This late middle aged man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle and is in decent physical shape. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kyle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to work out more often
Ideals: Athletic, Philantrophist. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: Mentor. Occupation: Unemployed
Voice: Ums and uhs a lot

Theobald Marleigh, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has no hair. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Theobald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Theobald took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother
Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Ugly, Selfish. Bonds: Nature, Family. Occupation: Sage
Voice: Voice breaks

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
