He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ernest is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a pastel tunic with brown highlights, and long violet pants that bunch up around his shoes. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Arnold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and a deep hatred of drow
