Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. One day when Guy was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Guy was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Guy was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Chad will drive conversation. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Charles was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is content; and to end his boredom

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Fortune-teller. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Frederick studied abroad. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Frederick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and a deep hatred of illithids
