History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

History: Alexandre was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country.
