The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Alexandre took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up warhammer and armor he uses now. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gerald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
