History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
