Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: Anselm was born with his mother's beautiful face. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is short and auburn. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Gerald was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is unsatisfied with his job
