History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Peter alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
