Description: With white face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he usually wears his black robe and has his scythe always slung over his shoulder. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When Bertram reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Alex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is unsatisfied with his job
