However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Baker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to be a guard again

Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Conrad never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Interpreter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his blue boots flare out at the collars, he is not a threatening figure. He has done his best to style his silver hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are likewise hazel. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to find somewhere to settle down
