His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Norman took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He was born into a rich family. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Shepherd soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.
