He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Thomas was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Engraver. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
