History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
