History: Ernest lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Sculptor mother left him crippled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
