History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mason for the past few years.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Hubert liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born into a rich family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His first spouse was a Bricklayer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bricklayer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
