To get what you want from life, you must take it. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by unlife.

History: Born to a Carpenter, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
