When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
