Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and doesn't want to be a beggar and was forced into it by his family

He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and to reunite with his old friends

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a barrister and was forced into it by his family

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
