Adelard Quinton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his bastard sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length brown hair. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to share knowledge with the world
Ideals: Fighting, Logical. Flaws: Ugly, Cynical. Bonds: Nature. Occupation: Spy
Voice: Jittery and nervous

Personal [hide]
Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright violet and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are violet and catlike.
Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is greedy; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
Flaws: Insane, Shy. Bonds: Rich, Attractive, Military. Occupation: Shipwright
Voice: Soothing and warm

Personal [hide]
Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His tied-back hair is golden. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He is greedy.
Ideals: Entrepeneur, Athletic, Opinionated. Bonds: Rich, Mentor. Occupation: Butcher

Personal [hide]
Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He keeps his black hair in a flapper bob. He has brown eyes and a white hat with a red feather.
Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and someone believes him a fraud
Ideals: Logical. Flaws: Insomniac. Bonds: Attractive, Enemies, Rich, Family. Occupation: Gardener

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his father was alright.
