History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Norman was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His first spouse was a Tanner, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
