History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Percival was born with his father's beautiful face. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
