History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Stylist arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Arnold was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
