History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Jeweler. He's also a talented Bellfounder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Randal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
