History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
