History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His childhood dream was to be a Performer, but he was a colossal failure. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Blacksmith responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Nicholas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
