When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Raymond began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Raymond was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Theodoric learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise.
