He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.
