When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Server and occasionally as a mercenary.

This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is greedy

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. After coming to the age of reason, Jocelyn took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
