History: He was born in the west. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by his family
