Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Ralf has worked very hard to control his curse. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He usually wears his yellow robe and has his mace always slung over his shoulder. He wears his golden hair up. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Courier and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He has a long black beard with little hanging trinkets. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is afraid of men and trembles around them

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his falchion with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He keeps his long red hair kept up in a rat tail. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
