History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses like a well dressed Fisher does. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Fisher. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has worked as a Fisher like his mother before him.

Motivation: Expand his business.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Trym alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and revenge
