Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Randal reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears suspenders and yellow workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy yellow leather apron most of the time. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears a green shirt, with a black mid length shorts with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, marred by teas. His brown hair is cut short. His eyes are likewise brown.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To end his boredom; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: Standing 5'3", this man is typically in his Knight uniform. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Gunter speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Gunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Banker, but he got bored and became a Knight. Recently the stress of being a Knight has made it difficult for him to sleep.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.
