Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His violet eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: Gifted from a young age, Anselm studied abroad. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a morningstar on his belt. His red hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a clover scrunchie. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his feathered yellow hat.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Body Guard and found it very stressful. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy black stubble. He wears a blue cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. He has a hunchback. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Ernest reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
