Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to illithids.

History: Born in the south to a Assassin, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He struck the Assassin job and began his own company from there.
