Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ernest grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up work as a Carter and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he is unsatisfied with his job

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Frederick is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
