History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gilbert's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
