History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has achieved small success as a Blacksmith.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns.
