Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Richard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Richard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to be a locksmith again

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His green eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Layabout business.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He carries with him a set of maces on his belt, each one with a emerald on the hilt. His auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are likewise amber.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: To be a Performer again; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. His brown hair is matted, messy, and big. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He takes great joy in being the best Junk Dealer in town.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Junk Dealer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Junk Dealer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theodoric fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: The light-skinned man stands 5'4" and tends to wear a yellow poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Apothecary job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
