History: Frederick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Unemployed, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: Born in the east to a Servant, Richard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Richard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
