History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Sage father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found
