Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. A true patriot, Miles would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he would like to get married and retire
